Which harry potter book was the newest one out in 1996 to 2001?

Im supposed to be writing a book review for a book that was very popular during that time period for my english class so i figured why not the newest harry potter book?

   Philosopher’s (or Sorcerer’s) Store published 1997
   Chamber of Secrets published 1998
   Prisoner of Azkaban published 1999
   Goblet of Fire published 2000

   And then Order of the Phoenix was published in 2003, making it too late for your assignment.

   I’d recommend starting with the first book, if you’ve never read them before or the fourth book (my favorite) if you have.
