What are some good, new books for kids age 3-6?

anitaki asked:

I need some suggestions on good books for Christmas for my niece and nephew. I’d like to get something that is on their level and enjoyable but also educational and/or has a good message. Any ideas?

  1. if they can read the box car kids are good

Amelia Belia, is so funny, they will love these books

  2. Here are a few suggestions geared for that age group.

IF YOU TAKE A MOUSE by Laura Numeroff
    MADELINE by Ludwig Bemelmans
AMELIA BEDELIA by Peggy Parish and Herman Parish
    BLUE DOG CHRISTMASby George Rodrigue

  3. I think this book would be good I Love You Through and Through by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak, Caroline Jayne Church (Illustrator)

  4. This is where I went to find books for my 3 yr. old grandchild. She loved the books, and I recently went again to find a special one for Christmas. By the way…BRAVO!!!! Giving books? Wonderful!!!!

  5. I love Cookies: Bite Size Life Lessons by Amy Krause Rosenthal. It is really cute. No More Cookies by Paeony Lewis is also really good. I love Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney. Grump by Janet Wong. Dog Blue by Polly Dunbar.
