Should Cujo Cause A Breed Ban?

Patient Paws asked:

If Steven King writes that a Saint Bernard processed thoughts of killing women and children, and carried out his murderous plot, was there a hysteria over Saint Bernard’s?

I’d like to point out that in Dean Koontz’s novel, The Husband, he wrote: most pits are are nice as nuns, but knowing Mitch’s luck he wouldn’t run into Sister Pit, but into demon dog.

That made me smile.

What Breed-Specific things have you seen in books (like I listed above)?

(Please *Star* so I can see lots of answers!)
Of COURSE I read Cujo. I’m not inept. Get off of your high horse, please and thank you. Those lines and the title were jokingly. Wow.
My dad named his cat Cujo, I forgot to add that, lol. :) SHE’s as sweet as can be!

Any suggestions as to a good book/author?

I’ve read a verity of books. I’m not too much in to romance books but I have read some Nicholas Sparks. Mostly I like fast paced books with come action in them. I’ve read all the Lord or the Rings books, all the Harry Potter books, a few of Steven King, some Dean Koonz, most of John Grisham books, all of the twilight books, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and a lot of other things. I just finished Jumper and loved it.
